Astral Auric Layer
The Astral Layer or fourth layer of the aura is associated with areas of expression on a physical, emotional and mental level and is related to the fourth (Heart) chakra. It extends up to one foot from the body and indicates your capacity for conditional and unconditional love. The Astral Layer is called the bridge between the denser or lower vibrations of the physical plane and the finer or higher vibrations of the spiritual planes. In other words, not only is it the dividing line, but it also connects the lower three layers with the higher three. It is this layer within the aura through which all energy must pass when going from one world to the other. Virtually all healing energy comes through the astral layer as it is the layer of love both specific and universal, and the first of the spiritual layers. This body connects you with higher dimensions of reality. It is the doorway to the Astral plane.
The astral body is composed of clouds of color more beautiful than those of the emotional body. While the astral tends to have the same set of colors, they are usually infused with the rose light of love. It extends out about one half to one foot from the body.
When people fall in love, beautiful arcs of rose light can be seen between their hearts, and a beautiful rose color is added to the normal golden pulsations of the pituitary gland. Cords grow out of the chakras to connect the couple. When a relationship ends, those cords are torn, sometimes causing a great deal of pain. These cords have to re-root themselves within the self.
A great deal of interaction takes place between people on the astral level. Great blobs of color shoot across the room between people; some pleasant and some not so pleasant. On the surface two people may be ignoring each other, but on an energy level, a whole lot of communication is taking place.
