Emotional Auric Layer
The Emotional Layer or second layer of the aura is associated with the vibrational level of inner feelings and related to the second (Sacral Plexus) chakra, the emotional aspects of our lives and being. This layer lies beyond the etheric field and extends to one to three inches. This layers' structure is more fluid that the Etheric and does not duplicate the physical body. Rather, it appears to be soft colored clouds of fine substance in continual fluid motion, which expresses the full spectrum of our emotions. These clouds change color as your emotions change, so they describe you passing moods. All the colors of the rainbow can be found here and the emotional layer is where the chakras can most easily be seen. The emotional layer is most often described by aura readers. It will show dark spots or cloudy and stagnant areas where emotional blocks and pain exist.
People with strong lives focus on their body like athletes and dancers who have a particularly strong etheric aura, as if it is this layer of aura that reflects the health and condition of the physical body. When the body experiences pain, this layer reacts by scattering energy through out this layer. The etheric auric layer is responsible for creating and maintaining the physical body. It keeps the chakras and meridians in good operating condition so that the body thrives and remains healthy. Whenever the energy to this auric level is obstructed, the physical body reflects this as a disease or illness.
The rainbow colored emotional layer penetrates the denser bodies that it surrounds. Its amorphous, ever-changing swirls of colors vary from brilliant clear hues to dark muddy ones. The brilliance depends on the level of positive or negative feeling/ energy that is produced. Clear and highly energized feelings such as love, excitement, joy or anger are bright and clear. Those feelings that are confused are dark and muddy. As these feelings become energized through personal interaction, body psychotherapy, etc., the colors separate out into their primary hue in conjunction with the corresponding chakras. In this emotion-color equation, an angry or aggressive person, for example, will have a great deal of dirty red in his aura, an intellectual person a lot of yellow, a spiritual person white and/or violet, and so on.
